We Were Soldiers

This is the story of one of the first U.S. battles of the Vietnam war. Mel is a Lt. Colonel who leads 400 troopers from an elite combat division into battle. They are surrounded by 4,000 North Vietnamese soldiers and the battle that ensues was one of the most bloody and savage in U.S. history. This movie was a tribute to the nobility of those men, their valour and loyalty to each other.
