Movie Violence Counts and Ratings

The information on this page has been compiling since the early 1980's. This site has been active on the internet, at one URL or another, since 1996.
'Kills' refers to the number of people killed by the character in a movie using our guidelines.
Movies may appear twice on this site if a proper name category (ie. Mel Gibson) is one of the occurences, otherwise there is only be one entry per movie. Movies must meet minimum run-time (all categories) and kill (miscellaneous categories only, stated at the top of the page) requirements.
Star ratings are out of 5 and are rated in increments of .5. Further details on our requirements are found in our guidelines.
